Bertrand Viala is a French regional public policy and strategy advisor with over 15 years of continuous experience in the Middle East, Viala, started his career at the French Ministry of Defense, and worked as the regional director of French Public Affairs, Security and Strategy firm Serenus Conseil (Amarante Group). Viala has been a regular commentator on Turkish public policy and economic regional developments on Phoenix TV (China) and in France’s Les Echos newspaper. He acts as the representative of Paris-based ESL&Network to support its public affairs business in Turkey. His specific areas of interest are innovation management, energy transition policy and change management. Viala has worked successfully for large international consulting groups, and large MNCs. Viala received his M.A. in political science from McGill University (Canada).
