Feyza Gumusluoglu

Feyza Gumusluoglu is a renowned Turkish journalist and author whose work has focused on the Gulf region and Turkey. Gumusluoglu is currently based in Istanbul, responsible for foreign news and relations at Turkish national TV channel, EKOTURK TV. She continues covering and writing on the Gulf for Turkish media. Gumusluoglu was the first Doha correspondent and Gulf Representative of Turkey’s official news agency, Anadolu Agency from 2011 to 2014, as well as a senior reporter for The Peninsula, Qatar’s main English daily. As an analyst, Gumusluoglu has written articles in Turkish and English for a wide range of local and international outlets, mainly on domestic and international relations of the Gulf, with a particular focus on Qatar and Turkey-Gulf relations, as well as culture, economy and politics of the region. She also worked as research assistant intern at the Middle East Institute in Washington DC. Gumusluoglu received her MA in international political economy from Marmara University.
